These are not fresh water pearls. They are beautiful look like pearl bead and will handle time well if they are taken care of. I’ve been make Jewelry for years and these pearls do not pass the grit test.But other that that they are beautiful, the price was good and they wear well. I would buy them again.

These were replacements as one of the originals broke. I love the size, not too big but big enough to be noticed. The "pearl" part is pretty and had a sparkle and the housing appears to be sturdy. They are comfortable and I have worn mine to bed several times with no discomfort or weakening of the hook part. I love them and they go nicely with the very expensive real pearl bracelet I have. Love the price and looks way more expensive.
