Description of elevated pet bed by Aspen Pet

Helps keep pet warm in winter and cool in summer. Durable water resistant fabric. Cross bars allow for a greater degree of rigidity in frame.

Dog and baby tested best in bed

It was a bit difficult to assemble at first, the fabric was dense. I wasn't sure if my dog would like it but I threw her a dog mat and she loved it. It's been holding up well for a few months, although the baby sometimes jumps on it. Dog 60 pounds, toddler 40 pounds.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Ordered 4 beds and 3 came with no spares!

Ordered this bed 4 times. Of those 4 times, 3 boxes were missing screws to mount the beds. That can only be frustrating. They are easy to assemble. One bed is already broken. :-( I do not recommend this product because of poor packaging, not enough durable fabric, no interchangeable covers.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good, but screws are missing

Like many other reviewers, mine arrived without screws. The box was only partially sealed with tape from the open ends. I called the manufacturer and they sent me the missing parts. All packaging for this product must be checked for stock, and small missing parts included in the packaging of the fabric part of the bed are not discarded separately.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Small things

Very disappointed. for cats

I was thrilled when I received this product as it was exactly what I was looking for. to complete the construction. However, the assembly was very easy despite the missing screw. I ended up having to return the item, which luckily Amazon made very easy. Instead, I bought a raised bed from K&H.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal for warm weather and for dogs with arthritis.

I bought one of these at a discount store for only $12 but I needed two. That's why I bought it here. This is a GREAT purchase for warm climates, the dog stays engaged and the air flows freely keeping them cool and dry. The frame is very easy to assemble / disassemble, which makes washing easier. The fabric is thin enough to be breathable but durable enough for my 45 lb dog. Washes well. Very happy with this product

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Don't Buy This: Cats

They're really badly made. I bought two of these for my black labs. They were tricky to put together and when you finally attach all the bars with cheap screws the frame stays tilted and one side of the bed pops out. Once under load it seemed normal so I used them for a couple of weeks until the bolts became so bent I could barely get them out of the metal bars so I threw the thing away.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Not durable, look for another brand.

Purchased in late July for my 70lb German Shepherd and the stitching came out of bed in less than 2 months with limited use (it took a couple of weeks for him to start using). He doesn't chew or scratch, just slept on the bed and the fabric is completely torn. I could deal with it, but the company didn't even respond to my request to replace the fabric after I called and emailed them. We also bought a coolaroo bed with the same order and it is holding up much better so I would recommend it…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some faults

Goldendoodle weighing 50 pounds. Big dog, lots of space.

Bought for my then 30 lb Goldendoodle. He now weighs 50 pounds and still has plenty of room to stretch out. He's 22" shoulder length and can still stretch out on that 43" x 32" bed. Great airflow for those hot summer days when he still wants to lay in the sun for a bit. He's a pup so he has chewed on the handles but this in no way affected the bed's functionality or stability. As he grows he may not be able to stretch out as far but he will always have a place to lie on and can watch his kingdom

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Secret

Need better stitching and waterproof fabric

I have been looking for a replacement coolaroo bed which my dogs love (we live in sunny Southern California where I believe that it's nice to lie on hot concrete.) And I decided to try this other brand. I was a little wary of the price (cheaper than the Coolaroo) and couldn't tell for sure if the fabric was durable or not. One of Coolaroo's advantages is that the fabric is a thick mesh that is water permeable, not permeable. After a little rain earlier this summer, the puddle stayed for several

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about this everything is fine
