Not strong enough for other sports

Good: Easy to put on and take off. It also doesn't provide adequate protection when checking roundhouse kicks. You still get bruises even if you wear them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Reliability

Pretty good suggestion: Other sports

It's just a thin pillow, just what I wanted. Good for relieving your shins. They tend to slip into the foot a bit. Maybe a size smaller would be better. It's probably not something you'd want to take to an MMA gym, but it's fine for home use.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • None

Not good but cheap in other sports

I bought them because they are cheap. I have a pair of elite boxing gloves that I really liked so thought they would be the same. They are quite thin, don't fit your feet and the strap falls off when put in place. I no longer use them and only train without them as they are just annoying. It's not worth it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great shin pads, the best in the sport

These shin pads are great. They have enough padding for you to ready your shins for a fight. Other pads I've used are way too thick and unrealistic when it comes to how the cushioning will feel in a real fight. You have to be very precise with your shots and ready to parry anything that comes back at you.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor problems

Great if you don't need a lot of protection

Great value and very comfortable. I use them for muay thai and while they don't offer the greatest protection they are great for sparring. They seem pretty well made and go pretty easy, if a bit tricky when sweaty. If you are looking for solid protection this is not for you but more for real fights and sparring, very light and well built.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Frequency

a bit boxy but work well

Overall they work well and stay in place well. My 2 required improvements are that I would prefer the lower leg part to wrap around the lower leg a little better as it is a square shape. Another point, I wish they were a bit longer on the leg (size 12) as they don't cover enough when connected to the top of the foot (closer to the toes like TKD) but for shin strikes and protection they are good work

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Speed

Comfortable and minimalistic

I'm a 5ft 4 inch female and they fit great. They fit like a glove, don't move and let you move freely. Unlike previous shin guards I've tried on, they don't dig in below the knee or cause mobility issues around the ankle. They offer sufficient protection, but still allow a certain rigidity. I'm just new to Muay Thai and these pads save my skin from huge bruises when I hit the bag or the pads.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • High price

Extremely cheap for shin guards

When I received them I removed the velcro to put them on my daughter and the velcro attached to the shin pads not the velcro. When I pulled on it, it seemed to detach from the thread and severely sawed off the material on the kneecap. It's a cheap material that's already unraveling and rolling after wearing it around the house for just 15 minutes. They've already stretched and aren't holding their shape either. I can't believe they cost $25. Didn't expect the quality to be so bad.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Secure, comfortable fit with an easy slip on

I'm 5'6", 182lbs, mid-calf, size S/M fits very well. They felt secure but not too tight. House kicks a heavy sack and is able to grope through the cushions a bit. There are other pads that offer better protection, but they're decent for their weight. I would like the padding to be increased another inch to cover all your toes as sometimes you can feel it more on the exposed part. They fit under my macho karate leg guards so when I want to hit really hard I just double up them and that gives…

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Hard to tell
