Avoid this product Suitable for aquarium heaters and coolers

I've had temperature swings of about 10-15 degrees in my saltwater aquarium and some of my snails have boiled over. I wish I didn't have this heater.

Pros
  • Suitable for aquariums up to 30 gallons
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Looks very easy to break in or out of the tank

is very thin compared to previous heaters I've had. Looks very easy to break in or out of an aquarium, hard to find overhangs over top heaters as I don't like underwater heaters.

Pros
  • Pilot switch
Cons
  • Hard to tell the glass

Bad Design!: Fish and Aquatic Animals

This aquarium water heater does heat the water BUT its temperature sensor is 1/2 inch from the top of the unit. If you start with a clean aquarium, it will work for two days, then its sensor will no longer be in the water (evaporation), but in the air above the water! How does it know what temperature the water is? To make it work Right, you have to keep the water up to the top of the tank all the time and refill it every day.

Pros
  • 150w Aquarium Heater
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Do not buy! for aquarium heaters and coolers

Good price, bad performance. The disadvantage of the device is that the heat creates condensation, which collects around the control switch and enters the heating tube, quickly destroys the circuits, and then overheats and bursts or simply fails. The exploding squads killed several tilapia growers. I breed breeding groups and that means making several hundred dollars for adult fish about a year old. Eight units tried, all failed. In the same way. Even when they get wet, they give off an…

Pros
  • Maintains accurate temperature in aquarium
Cons
  • Has flaws
