Reliable vacuum pump for filling refrigerants, sturdy and reliable construction

This pump replaced a missing vacuum pump for our refrigerant business. It's built solid and safe. The setting is easy, the flow is continuously regulated. Unpacked and ready to use, including pump oil. Really impressive gear at a great price and backed by an excellent company.

Name: To assemble the suction system

I took this to assemble the suction system for changing oil and other automotive fluids. Connecting to a canister system provided more suction than I thought it would. I didn't really like 7CFM but after using it my opinion changed. It cannot be used to suck up liquids directly, it just creates a vacuum for the canister from which things can be sucked into the canister. It mentions HVAC but I haven't used it for anything HVAC, just a canister to remove oils and stuff from car engines. Overallโ€ฆ

Far from release.

At first glance, this shouldn't be a problem. Start the vacuum, stand back and let the pump do all the work. Unfortunately, this was not at all convenient. The pump I was provided kept turning on causing the solenoid to open and losing the vacuum I was able to generate. This process repeated every 3-5 minutes for several hours before I threw it away and put it back in the box it came in. When I contacted the manufacturer of this product, they told me it must be user error. Your tech support isโ€ฆ
