The cutouts that the crossbar brackets fit were inaccurate. The bracket had to be slightly adjusted to the contour of the cross member.

This part is exactly what I needed to replace the rotten shock absorbers on a 2002 Silverado. A little light sanding/welding and you're done. When I was done I painted it black.

Fits well, they ended up being cut, the brackets on my rear end straight up not slanted (rear end reversed), the metal was an odd material but worked well!

I replaced a rotten cross member on my test 2009 1/2 ton GMC Sierra. They are not yet making rust repair parts for this year's trucks. I'm starting by making a new crossmember out of 3" thick wall pipe. I used this secondary shock mount on a piece of pipe I used and it's been about a month now and it's still holding up fantastic. At first I was not sure, but this is really a quality item.
