This Elk sire driver met my expectations for a powerful yet affordable siren for my home security system. According to my experience, it works excellently with my other electronics and provides enough volume to alert both my family and my neighbors. The compact size made installation easy, but it would have been nicer if it had included some mounting hardware. Overall, a great product for anyone looking for a solid security siren.

About twenty dollars and 2 days after I ordered my alarm clock was rocking and spinning again. It's way louder than my old Moose JDS-1000 that died. The screeching is very shrill and characteristic. It comes in a nice reusable plastic box with a foam cushion. The included instructions are great. I'll post an update if it doesn't last, so hopefully you won't hear from me again!

I have an alarm system in a house connected to some existing equipment. The home siren has had its driver removed to support the panel with the built in driver. My panel had no driver. It was very easy to install and well documented. Also (and this is not a feature of the driver itself) the box it comes in is made of hard clear plastic and is reusable. I used it to organize parts and things when setting up my alarm clock and kept related gear in it that I might need in the future.
