Description of Elliptical trainer Titanium One X30 AF, grey/black

High-tech elliptical trainers from the German brand Titanium are a unique combination of advanced technology, functionality, quality and design. All product development, from initial concept and engineering to biomechanical testing and quality control systems, is carried out by the company''s headquarters located in Gendelberg, Germany. Designs of various series are also created here, which are based on conciseness and ease of use. All Titanium products are made with traditional German pedantry and attention to detail. The front-wheel drive elliptical trainer Titanium One X30 AF with an electromagnetic loading system belongs to the line of advanced models of the brand. Its main advantage is the combination of the most necessary functionality, excellent performance and affordable price. The biomechanics of the ellipsoid is based on the biovector shape of the frame with an extended rail base. This design ensures optimal pedaling angles throughout the entire driving cycle. In practical terms, for the user, this translates into efficient, comfortable and safe pedaling with an evenly distributed load - without dips at one point or another of the trajectory. Thanks to its design, Titanium One X30 AF helps the user to get into the correct working position - the simulator does not adversely affect the knees and is one of the safest in terms of impact on the knee joints and spine. Important biomechanical characteristics include a stride length of 42 cm. This is a sufficient base value, which, in combination with a successful frame design and quality components, creates the feeling of a simulator of a class above. Q-factor (S. Q. F. - small Q-Factor) is 18 cm - this is quite a comfortable indicator that has a positive effect on the technique of movement. An important element of the biomechanics of any front-wheel drive ellipse is the rollers moving along the rail frame. The Titanium One X30 AF uses high-quality, low-noise, slip-enhanced rollers made of high-temperature thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with NSK pressed-in bearings. A balanced weighted flywheel with an inertial weight of 17.6 kg adds comfort to the overall treasury. Stability and safety during training are given by oversized pedals with a grooved surface. Two types of handrails allow people of any height and complexion to comfortably train. Because front-wheel drive elliptical trainers tend to take up a lot of space, Titanium''s engineers paid special attention to folding and compact storage. Titanium One X30 AF can be folded and unfolded in half a minute. The true-VERTICALTM compact folding system allows the rail frame to be secured in a fully vertical position. This significantly saves space: if in working condition the length of the simulator is 188 cm, then when folded it is only 90 cm (folding factor 2.08

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

One could demand more from this simulator, but its price covers all its shortcomings. Now a normal front-wheel drive with a step length of 50 cm costs 80-100 thousand, not 48 at all. The main advantage of front-wheel drive over rear-wheel drive is that you can stand vertically evenly and the pedals go without jerking. Rear-wheel drive often has a short base, especially cheap ones. Therefore, the angle of the pedal paws is large, and this puts pressure on the knees. In this model, the angle is…

Pros
  • Probably the cheapest front-wheel drive elliptical on the market with a stride length of 40 cm, in this case 42 cm. Quiet in operation, does not creak.
Cons
  • The metal is thin, 120 kg maximum user weight is exactly the ceiling.

Performs its functions, nothing unusual.

A large distance between the pedals for front-wheel drive - you step on the pedals after other front-wheel drive ones (Horisont, NordicTrack) - there is an inconvenience in setting the legs - wider than with normal walking. Therefore, I think that the advantage of front-wheel drive is not realized. I bought the second simulator already used and from another company, because. prices for all front-wheel drive and even with an inclined platform are cosmically unreasonable (even this one has risen…

Pros
  • Price for front-wheel drive (in August 2022 - 37,000) In principle, the simulator works.
Cons
  • 1) The quality of welding of metal parts - the seams are uneven, non-continuous. 2) I would like more rigidity in the design - when working, it twists a little, following the pull of the hand. 3) A hard platform under the feet - without sneakers, the leg will be 100% erased. 4) A battery compartment that is not used (at first they thought it was a marriage.) 5) The quality of the soldering on the board - the solder layer is placed unevenly. As a result of the latter, a malfunction was observed from the very beginning - the computer did not turn on. The store refused to change only the computer - disassemble and transport the entire simulator - and this is an unpleasant job due to its weight. As a result, they brought it to the store - and there the computer worked! Brought home - again does not work. They didn’t contact the exchange anymore - they pedaled without a computer for six months. Then the specialist soldered the cable - it seems that the computer is working for now.
