Not very durable, poor texture and container does not close.

How did a company like Elmer come up with packaging that doesn't seal well? If you hit the putty on the lid or edges it will not seal and the putty will dry and harden. The resulting putty texture after sanding will not be very smooth and will require a few coats of primer and re-sanding to prepare it for painting. This is not a strong wood spatula and is not recommended for use in situations where movement or tension is present as the spatula will loosen. It is recommended to use epoxy…

Dry content, imperfect seal

I bought this on recommendation for 3D printing smoothing. The contents, especially around the rim and the sealed edge, were dry. The container was new with no sign of opening. The middle part is still sticky but relatively thick. I think it's really an old batch. Dried contents in the edge of the lid prevent a 100% closure, which drastically shortens the shelf life after opening. Overall I cannot recommend this product due to quality control issues. I know most people use this around the home for DIY, but I bought this for my 3D printed models. When I glue two sheets together there is always a small gap that I use to fill in before painting. What I really like about this wood putty knife is that this putty knife dries very quickly compared to others I've used in the past, around 15-30 minutes depending on how much you use. Most importantly, it doesn't leave a bad smell in my room, basically less smell. It is very easy to work with and very

Fills LARGE holes and cracks in decking

hasn't been used long enough to call it durability, but it cures faster than regular Elmers wood filler. the pros had a slightly stiffer consistency, so i was able to fill the holes in my deck with just one container. It took 2 containers of the non-pro version and the non-recommended outdoor version, and it didn't hold up to the rain over time. I had soil erosion in my yard which allowed water to seep under my decking which was installed (by me) on a 2x4 as a ground level deck in 2007. then…
