Good product for detailed cutting. Better than #11.

In my days in front of the computer I used #16 blades to create graphic designs. That's exactly what I remember. . . sharp and strong. The tip doesn't break like #11, the cutting edge is smaller so there are fewer accidents. Previously, #11s were only used for cutting foam, but #16s are strong enough for a thick matte board without losing a tip, and were a mainstay of the production designers at the design company I run.

Pros
  • Precision machined from high quality carbon and stainless steel with hard, sharp points and precision ground cutting edges
Cons
  • Big and bulky

These stones are

I've been a big fan of the #16 blade for years since art school. Well, as a semi-professional artist/craftsman (and professional designer) I can't play with sub-par blades. These blades last longer than #11 blades and much longer than any other #16 blade and are much better at cutting mat, paper, metal foil, cardboard, glue, even wire and wood. Lots of uses, worth a coin for some great blades. Best used with a straight edge, otherwise you may end up cutting off something you didn't intend to…

Pros
  • This is a generic aftermarket part
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

crap, don't buy it.

Complete nonsense Real blades do not bend at the tip with minimal pressure. The price is attractive but the blades suck. I'm fed up with foreign counterfeiting, this fake packaging and copyright circumvention because of their labor practices. Real blades are expensive but work great. You will piss off a real artist in 100 ways. DO NOT BUY THESE. Save some money for real blades. real on several external sites.

Pros
  • No. 16 blades for x-actual knives
Cons
  • Drill kit
