We'll see how long it lasts but so far the lamp is working well. :) It's way better than the cheaper replacement I first bought from another brand which broke within 10 hours and smelled like burnt plastic from the get go. Although this one is a bit more expensive it has been running for over 20 hours now so I hope it's the right value for money I was looking for.

The first bulb worked for 6 hours and was quickly replaced by customer service. 2200 hours on this bulb and it's coming to an end. The drop in brightness became noticeable after about 2000 hours, although day and night are still fine with blackout curtains at home. Has an intermittent flicker that has started within the last 100 hours. As previously mentioned, some bulbs may have slipped through quality control. I use this lamp on my Epson HC8350 I like the factory comparable quality just not the longevity but the customer service honors the warranty and would definitely recommend purchasing all for its price

This lamp is not as bright as others I've used and takes a while to warm up. Aside from being a fairly small thing, this is a good lamp replacement. There are cheaper ones out there but at least this one is decent quality for the money. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. They all claim 4,000 hours, but I've never had a single brand, including Epson, last longer than 2,500 hours.

I bought this lamp with a protection plan. Bought through Revain with a 180 day warranty plus a two year extended warranty I thought I was done. After 110 days of irregular use, maybe just a few hundred hours, the bulb burst and started smoking. Sudden death. So I contacted Revane who said her responsibility was long over.
