An indispensable part of the emergency kit!

I keep these in my emergency kit in our family cars. I had a family member who was once in a car accident in a remote location and a stranger pulled over and gave him his car blanket to keep him warm and relieve his shock symptoms until paramedics arrived. It was very valuable and I wanted to pay up front and always have blankets on hand in case I could help someone else one day. They are not bulky, fold quite compactly and easily fit in a glove box. I shook it out; I tore it like a towel several times; I tried to tear it apart with my bare hands; and I wrapped my kitten in it to see if she could "break out of the mylar bag". It is fully intact at this point as I would expect from Mylar based on what I have read about the original…
