The product is not very torn and it really works. I would really recommend it for the outer layer of a lightweight sleeping bag; for those who travel ultra light. In this case, it gives your sleeping bag a moderate amount of extra warmth (which you'll feel very quickly) - just enough, of course, to make the difference between a comfortable or uncomfortable night of moderately cold weather. A good reserve for survival and great gifts

Bought a few to give away to friends. Although they look thin, they are quite difficult to pierce. Conductive metalized surface is inside. In bright light you can see through you. They are much warmer than duvets made from the same material (I have both). The hand-sized bag fits easily in your car, your tackle box, and even in your jacket pocket. Just what I needed to overwinter my banana plant!
