Disclaimer: I purchased this item with my own money so expect this review. Overall, this is a high quality 60 inch fan. Brushed steel looks great. The metal was of the highest quality. I installed this fan myself in our living room and replaced the existing fan with a lightweight kit. I have fairly low ceilings (about 7ft 10in) so fan depth was an issue for me. Firstly, this fan is specifically described on Revain.com as having 60" blades. Yes, one would imagine that this fan would be over 10 feet wide with blades this size. Wow, it would be cool (literally and figuratively!) to have such a huge fan.
