The EMERSON compact stereo is a great addition to anyone's audio experience. The sound quality is amazing for such a small device. The alarms display is also a helpful feature that makes setting alarms easy, and the price is very affordable. However, the clock display is a little too bright for some people's liking. Overall, this is a great purchase for anyone looking for quality electronics on a budget.

First of all, it has a backup battery! Another plus is the bright, large and clear numbers. And in green, not bright red. I had it for about 5 years, but the "off" button finally stopped working after pressing it every morning, day after day. I'll buy two more!

Bought for my son as a Christmas present. He never played a single CD, even tried a new one. sent back. Second unit received, after 6 weeks the clock got stuck at 10:13 for a few days then we tried to reset it and it just blinked even after I tried to set it. We unplugged the device, tried resetting the clock again and it still wouldn't set, just flashing. come back again I'm done.
