Yes it works! Plays both DVD and VHS tapes with no problems. Came with remote control. came quickly Hooray! Certainly better than that junk combo I bought from someone else. It took 10 cleanings to watch a movie with this lemon

We already had this product. It worked great. Our house burned down and this was one of the many items lost in the fire. I enjoy melody. This seller is great! A good communicator who goes the extra mile for his customers.

I have over 900 VHS tapes to transfer to DVD and this unit is perfect for the job. I searched several sites for a good VCR, most were around $200 and didn't even offer a DVD player. I didn't find anything I didn't like about this product.

The video cassette does not work which was the reason for buying this product :( some down and everything plugged in, the return window closed. The VHS player shows Doesn't show the video stream (but the DVD player does, so I know my cables are working) I'm just really disappointed that I only paid $80 for the DVD player.

I was so happy to find this DVD+VCR combo player because my mom had the exact same one but it stopped working. Well, she wanted another one, just like the one that died. This player is exactly the same as your old one. So I bought it for Mother's Day and she loved it. Because we found one that looked like an Emerson but couldn't be wired, but this player had a TV tuner. Thank you for saving the day. Mary Green
