Made in France since 1850. Made of all natural materials. High-fired Burgundy clay using Emile Henry hr ceramic (high resistance). Superior heat retention. Burgundy clay has superior even-heat diffusion and heat retention properties; it keeps food hot on the Table Longer. Resistant against temperature change. For use in the oven up to 520 degrees F. Oven, broiler, and microwave Safe: can go directly from freezer or refrigerator, to a hot oven, to Table. Durable and scratch resistant. Extremely hard glaze does not scratch and does not craze. Durable for everyday use. The highly resistant glaze is ideal in the kitchen for making delicious meals and desserts. Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe or hand wash with soap and water. 10 year against manufacturing defects when used in a household environment.

Read the size in the fine print. Otherwise a quality product

Very high quality crockery. However, it is 13x9. I was looking for a larger bowl and the title says it's 16.5 x 10.6. Clear external dimensions and misleading (other colors correctly listed at 13x9).

Defects! for bakeware

I really wanted to like these dishes and was willing to spend more money to get a "good" set. Unfortunately, every Emile Henry piece I ordered had defects. I'm not sure if Émile Henri is made like that, or if it was seconds, or I'm just picky, but for the price I expected better.

The pan broke on the second use.

The second time I used it, it broke in half. It hasn't exceeded its thermal threshold, it hasn't been put in the dishwasher or dropped. We tried to return and not leave negative feedback as we wanted to give the company a try and thought it might be defective, but unfortunately we threw the pot away and are unable to get a refund or replacement.

Attractive Bakeware

I received my Emile Henry bakeware today. This is a very attractive dish. I'm sure my wife will be delighted (this is a gift). But despite knowing its proportions, I have to admit that I was expecting a slightly larger dish. In any case, it was surprising that the dish was delivered as a whole. The packaging for the fragile bakeware was substandard, to say the least. 5 stars for the casserole dish and 1 star for the boring packaging.
