Description of 🍞 Emile Henry Bread Cloche, 13.2 x 11.2 inches, Charcoal - Made in France

Made in France. The Bread Cloche is made of all natural materials and is backed by a ten-year warranty. The ceramic Bread Cloche with its bell shaped cover allows you to proof your bread directly in the bread cloche. The lid traps steam from the baking bread to create an environment similar to a steam-injected oven. The steam gives the bread a crunchy, chewy crust. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F). The Emile Henry Bread Cloche is sized for a round loaf made with 3-cups of flour. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe. Recipe and Instruction booklet included.

Wonderful pastries thanks to Emile Henri!

I love to bake bread but I wanted to try this hat because I read great reviews and I am committed to Emile Henri. In fact, I would recommend Émile Henri well above Le Creuset, which I consider to be a very overpriced company with extremely poor customer service. I made my first attempt yesterday and although the bread took a little longer to bake than in a standard pan, it turned out beautifully. Plus it's so easy to clean and the hood looks so pretty I leave it on the stove when I'm not using…

Very fine ceramics and even finer glazes.

I didn't use it. The shiny red glaze is applied unevenly and appears rough and thin. Areas of unfinished ceramic are visible on the top of the base. The red in this fine spray is not exactly shiny, but rather has a satin finish. I was expecting a much thicker and heavier piece. He looks incredibly fragile for his size. Update: On another inspection the next day, looking for use, the heat is making the surface look "crazy", like a big green egg or a Komado ceramic grill. nope It arrives cracked…

I wouldn't buy this again

Works well but there is always a risk of breaking easily. The main reason I won't be buying it again is that I split a large batch of dough and cooked half in it and half in a 5 liter Staub Dutch oven and the results were exactly the same. Buying this one trick pony has no benefit compared to the brazier you may already have and that you can simply lay out a "loop" of parchment paper to lower and raise the ball of dough without the flour on the baking sheet having to use . Pop up. Very easy…

Makes wonderful bread

I'm making more and more bread, mostly using Artisan Bread recipes in 5 minutes a day, and it's made everything so much easier. Many recipes work best with steam, steam, or either. While the first two add moisture from the outside, this keeps all of the moisture in the dough nearby and uses it to create steam. The result is a good spring and a rich crust. The size is just right for my needs (I usually make 1 or 2 pound loaves) and the loaf comes out well. I'm using parchment to make this even…

If you are looking for a bread bell or want to try it. Try it.

I bought this cap specifically to bake bread without kneading. Here's what I do with a little experimentation to get the perfect bread. The following steps worked for me and I hope they work for you. 1. Preheat the cloche, top and bottom together, in the oven for 20 minutes at the temperature you want for your recipe. 2. Using a 10 inch plate, measure the parchment paper to the diameter of the plate. Using scissors, cut the parchment paper to the diameter of the plate, then lightly dust the…
