Incredibly difficult level.

I didn't buy this with the magnetic part in mind and completely forgot it was even magnetic. It was an amazing realization. That is hard! I've used it primarily for welding and it still has no damage or noticeable wear. All bubbles have been shaken and still work perfectly.

This little torpedo level is amazing! I like the magnetic stripe on the bottom.

This little torpedo level is amazing! I like the magnetic stripe on the bottom that helps keep it on the surface of metal objects. It is very durable. I dropped it on concrete from 20 feet and there wasn't a single scratch on it. Works fine to this day.

Great little torpedo level

I've wanted a good torpedo level for a long time. This one is very well built and I've used it a few times. Lightweight and easy to carry in your pocket when working on stairs or building a patio. The magnet function is not needed but seems useful in some applications. I highly recommend this level.

Empire 581-9 9 " Navy Blue Aluminum Torpedo Level

Bought this as a gift. This is a longtime level builder. Looked well done. I'd say it's going to be a lifetime last a long time, or at least i hope so. i have a few levels from my dad that are older than me and i bought a pair. i've never broken any of mine and i haven't had a furnace failure in 50 years. Treat your tools with respect and they will outlive you.

Empire 581-9 9 " Dark Blue Aluminum Torpedo Level

Made in the USA, not the strongest magnets, not all aluminum

This torpedo level is made in the USA but only the top and bottom rails are aluminum. The main body is made of plastic. I bought this mainly for the magnetic strip to align golf club shafts. One side is magnetic (not the strongest but works) and the other side is non-magnetic but has a channel useful for round objects like pipes/tubes/shafts. Overall: 5/5 stars, cheap. , easy to use but not made entirely of aluminum and has a rather weak magnet.

A tool that never fails.

I bought this because I thought I lost my first Empire level. It turned out to be under the seat of my jeep. My first realm level was transferred to me. The thing went through hell and never lost a beat or lost magnetism. These spirit levels are extremely durable and are ideal for Mitsubishi indoor unit base plates.
