📏 Empire EM71-8 Advanced Magnetic Level for Professionals Review

I really like this spirit level. I bought them for my colleagues who all love them. It's small enough to fit on the front of a linac (for any medical physicist) and has really strong magnets to keep it in place without fear of falling off. The blue spirit is very easy to visualize and the aluminum body is very strong and durable. My original that I bought is several years old and has no leaks, movement or issues.

I really like this level. Aside from using the Precision Mechanics level, this is probably the best level I've ever used. It's made from solid aluminum and has a great overall fit and finish. This is one of those tools that is comfortable to hold and use. In terms of functionality, it can measure 0, 45, and 90 degrees. It has several magnets slightly embedded in the base so they don't affect leveling accuracy.

I am an electrician and have had problems with people 'borrowing' my tools. When my instruments looked like everyone else, they left. This level is much harder than Klien or Milwaukee. The bubble is about 1/4 inch inside the lines. Magnets are STRONG; The level stays on the edge of the 1/2" Ridgid tube while the tube is slid onto the tube bender. Best of all, the level has a beautiful silver finish and blue spirit (liquid), making this instrument absolutely unique power!
