🔧 Enhanced Efficiency with Empire Level 581 18 Magnetic Tradesman Review

Bought because the size is not small and not too big to fit in pocket. In terms of quality, this Empire is simply EXCELLENT!

It's very difficult to find an 18" level but I need to fit it in my 19" toolbox. This one is strong, durable, accurate and just the right size. The magnet is strong enough and the top reading is a great feature.

High quality US construction, typical Empire. I ordered a spirit level with external horizontal plane but they sent one with two vertical planes, maybe they are all the same now, otherwise very satisfied.

How often do you find yourself in a tight spot and all you have is a bubble level of 2 feet or more. A lot of! None of the wood companies come in under 2 feet, which is a very comfortable level even if you only use it occasionally. Definitely worth having in your toolbox.

Good quality. I have had the 12 inch model for many years and it is used frequently on our websites. I expect the 18-inch model to offer the same features. This is a good in-between size. Sometimes the 24-inch rim is a bit bulky. That should suit our team. The readability from above is good and the continuous frame means it can be used as a ruler or to mark lines. The magnetic edge is practical. As made in the USA.
