Empire Level 84-5 5-Inch Compact Level Review

It is lightweight and portable, which is very convenient for emergency leveling. I like bright yellow. (You won't lose it that easily.) It's a little cheap and flimsy. The price should be lower.

The image is yellow but I got blue. I checked the list, it says blue in the fine print. Works perfectly. Just annoyed. I can actually get it back because I hate watching people get away with this crap.

Perfect size for my needs. I work in the heating and cooling industry and use a small pocket level like this when mounting thermostats on walls. This one replaces the one I lost. This little level works great for what I need it for.

Actually small, for camera/telescopic tripod alignment. When turning on a flat surface, the difference is only about a millimeter. Flipping is something I learned a long time ago, a good idea at any level but especially cheap. If the hereor is the same in every direction, the surface is level.

I keep this layer in my aluminum notebook as a backup along with various other tools/consumables inside. It works as it should and is thin enough to put on your clipboard. I could use this as a basic leveling tool for basic washer/dryers/stoves if I had to. I'd put a magnetic strip underneath, but I'm not complaining!
