Soft but not the best material. It's big, it was bigger than any pillow I've had, seems to be the size of a European pillow. The zipper is also not very high quality, but the idea is good for those who are leaving a loved one.

I ordered this for my boyfriend because we are in a long distance relationship now. I was glad the saying was on both sides. Soft material cushions, not velvet but not the usual cotton blend. It was like ribbed material. I don't know how well the seam holds up to repeated washing. I did a first wash and everything was fine.
