Enclume 3 Piece Long Fireplace Tools, Hammered Steel Review

This is an extremely attractive, beautifully designed, and high quality piece. The broom is perfect for the set and extremely attractive and functional. I am thrilled. The shipping was delayed, seemingly forever, despite a promise that it was Prime shipping and there were two at least in stock. But when I finally got the product and unwrapped and have been using it: I am THRILLED. An amazingly high quality set.

Very well made, sturdy, and I definitely recommend the product. I wished the hammered steel was closer to black; it is closer to steel grey.

A real pain to put together despite the instructions but it finally got assembled thanks to help from my dad. The broom is beautifully detailed.

Very well made. Easy to put together. Looks great next to our fireplace.it has the tools most used by us. We've had two Enclume pot racks for decades and have loved them which is why we had no hesitation buying these tools from them. We know they will last.

This compact set of full size fireplace tools has a small footprint, but the shovel & poker are substantial in size & heft. The ash broom is of the straw variety, so be careful to sweep only the cold fireplace. Appearance & functionality are top flight, plus it's actually made in America - Washington State, I believe.

I was only looking for a new rack. I was disappointed that you can buy tools separately but not rack alone. The poker is missing the spur. No way to stop the log from rolling towards you. Not sure what it is good for. Dangerous. I love the rack and it is easy to pick up for cleaning purposes. It even allows room for old poker. Also, the shovel is not beveled at the ends. Makes for crude cleanup work. Rack gets six stars. Tools get two stars. Just because they look nice. Not too functional.

While these Enclume tools are attractive and well made, you don't actually get what's shown in the photo. The tongs are not the 3-prong type shown, made of square stock like the other tools. Enclume now ships a cheaper, 2-prong tong, that does not grasp the logs nearly as securely as the former style. It's also made of flat stock, and differs in appearance from the other tools. Enclume makes no disclaimer that the tongs different, even on their own website. "Tongs is tongs" is their position.If

$175! That's ridiculous for what is basically a couple pieces of bent metal. This is outrageously overpriced. If you think this is a good deal, I have a bridge to sell you.

I only got three tools but the description states " this set also includes tongs for lifting logs” and there is a picture of that . I never got the tongs.

I really like these "short” fireplace tools. They are attractive, functional and very well made. I just wish I could get a matching tool stand for my stove pad. I will keep my eyes open for a stand that matches in look and quality. Thanks for a great product!

Built very well, and looks great. Needed smaller tools for a smaller fireplace, and these are a perfect fit. Feels nice in small hands too.

Pros: solid, attractiveCons: a little short; the tops of the handles curl too far around the holding bar; the broom is too small

I chose to buy this set because it was all one solid piece, and I love the design. However, I bought it to be used with an outdoor fireplace in a covered area, and when I got it the directions cautioned about outdoor use. I wish the description of the product had included this information.
