Energy Suspension 16 1105R HONDA INSERTS Review

I loved the idea of the inserts but the zip ties are rubbish. They break and slip easily, too bad they didn't come up with something metallic.

Too many to fit! You should only sell engine mounts that have already been manufactured with their bushings. That would be nice. I don't have them installed on my computer. I will sell them on eBay.

Well I set about installing it and after frantically trying to get it to work for about 2 hours on the first one I gave up and took the angle grinder to my frame. to get a room. After about 20 minutes of grinding I was finally able to install it on my 1994 Honda Del Sol. The same happened on the passenger side. It was such a pain but they feel good once in place. I should probably go back and re-tighten them now to make sure they're fully seated.

This poly upgrade is questionable. After installing these polyester brackets/inserts the motor is very solid. The problem is that I feel strong vibrations from the engine. I like the firm feel, but the vibration is off (should it be on?). The inserts are a little tricky to install, you can be crafty if you let the local mechanic break your fists inserting them! I put them on tonight, it took me about an hour and a half for myself. If your engine mounts are at least decent quality, they'll fit right away. Energy did a really good job with them. Pros: Your engine mounts should last forever. No more loss of torque due to soft standard engine mounts. Easy to install, if the vibration is too strong, you can try taking it off. Turn them on one by one until you find your happy spot. Cons: You'll immediately understand why factory cars use soft rubber engine…

I haven't installed the two front moment inserts and the rear insert yet. My front driver's side torque mount had sheared off completely and hit the sides of the mount. I had to cut the center of the top of the bushings on the driver's side because I couldn't get the nut off the bracket before the bolt came off the engine. Put these on my 96 Civic. So far I've only put two front bottom supports, but the difference is noticeable. The driver's side lower bracket was a little painful as it has such small passages. After trying to push them in manually, I ended up tapping them lightly with the end of a ratchet and they popped right out. It was easy on the driver's side.
