Review on Energy Suspension 16 1105R HONDA INSERTS by Eric Fish

Very happy. The advantages and disadvantages are listed.

Put these on my 96 Civic. So far I've only put two front bottom supports, but the difference is noticeable. The driver's side lower bracket was a little painful as it has such small passages. After trying to push them in manually, I ended up tapping them lightly with the end of a ratchet and they popped right out. It was easy on the driver's side. They are noticeably stiffer and I don't feel like my engine shakes every time I slow down or speed up (already replaced with a new OEM). The only real downside is you do feel a bit of vibration going through the car, but that's the price of performance lol. Also with two front bottom inserts it has improved a lot but I plan to install rear mount inserts as well. The zippers, which look like the stuff that comes with it, seem a bit cheesy, but they're there and they still hold up. You can always use a thin long screw and large washers or even some other zip ties around the mount itself I'm sure. All in all, if you like to drive a little harder sometimes and don't like the feel of engine shifting, this is definitely an affordable option that works. UPDATE: Finally mounted the tails and it's even better! However, it's worth noting that pulling out the rear bracket and bracket on my 96 d16 was a real headache. It literally took a tube at the end of the switch to loosen the screws. But it's finished and feels great and the other two are holding up great!
