I bought this plug because it looked good and was reasonably priced. When installing with 10/4 wire, 2 mounting screws are stripped and not holding the wire properly. I like it and would recommend it if the screws held up better. I will send it back for an exchange.

When we bought a new, larger alternator last winter, I had to connect the male end of the Genny extension cord from the standard 120v plug to this 30amp 4 pin locking connector, so that's it now the same. configured as a female end for connection to our house circuit breaker panel.
