The Perfect Floor Box

Excellent control box, worth every penny, my client was very impressed after I installed it in the middle of his beautiful room!

2 out of 4 screws broke during installation

The product met my expectations. During installation, two of the four drive screws broke off while I tightened them hand-tight with little force.

Heavy duty Fits sockets well

I only bought this for the cover. This is hard work. The only problem is when you tighten the screws that compress the rubber seal and they start pressing on the covers making them stick out a bit. Another version with round hole covers works better and thinner (bought for another floor socket).

Four socket brass floor socket

Brass is easy to mark. The screws are slotted, making it easy for the screwdriver to slip off and leave marks on the surface. Not recommended for high traffic areas. It is very difficult to align the four screws through the top brass plate, rubber pad, two foam pads, metal pad, base bracket and threaded bolt of the electric box, so slipping of the screwdriver is almost inevitable. Use masking tape during installation. It's also very awkward to install as the outlets are recessed under the floor
