It is not assembled correctly!

I ordered this for my 1997 Sportster and when we tried to install it it was assembled upside down on one side and was unusable!

Happy carburetor and better throttle response with this little ditty!

Happy carburetor and better throttle response with this little thing! I took off a 10 year old fuel soaked crappy filter and put this nice guy in there. she's purring now!

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Fits like a glove. Reusable, easy to clean and maintain.

Replaced the stock filter with this one for a 2003 Sportster 1200. Worth every penny. I have cleaned the intake and when accelerating I can feel that there is less vibration. Anything I want to keep, I put in K&N.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not suitable. The Best in Parts

The item is approximately 3/8 inch thick which will affect the cover's fit and leave a gap between the cover and the back panel that allows water to enter the case. A real disappointment given the high price. Stick to genuine HD parts, not "one size fits all" fakes.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Will be added later

In other words, this is the last air filter you will buy. I didn't have to bleed the carb after changing it, but that's because I run an XLH1200S and don't use brake lines or pull the baffles off my CycleShack M lines. I assume you may need to do a little work to get the right fuel mixture on other carbureted HD sportssters. It…
