Provide heat to the cabin much faster. Reduce the wear on your engine during cold weather starts! They plug into a standard electrical outlet and can be put onto a timer, or a temperature triggered electrical outlet. This in effect causes your engine to reach operating temperature much faster and gives you heat inside the cabin much faster as well. On top of the benefit of heating up quicker, it also saves your engine a ton of wear and tear on internal moving parts! Doesn't keep promises.

This appliance generates 44.7W of heat. Useless. I would return it but that would require putting the van on a lift! Buyer Warning.

Yes this pad works and stays as they say!

So once you've removed all the paint from the splice, clean the splice and preheat the engine and pads as directed. This pad sticks as advertised and works very well! If you expect to get into your car and it blows out warm air right after you start it, invest in a coolant heater or park in a garage. This silicone gasket will definitely help and support you during the installation. Excellent value for money and quality!

Mandatory for 0 or below, tested at -22°F

Put on a 99 Jeep 4.0 and use it when the temperature reaches 0 or below. Really eliminates cold start problems and the engine warms up very quickly. The temperature reading is close to 100 when starting with only heating. In addition, it consumes only 150 watts. I scraped the paint off the oil pan with a spoked wheel on an angle grinder, then cleaned with a rag with brake cleaner, then plugged in the pad, it was nice and warm, and pressed it in firmly and smoothed it out.
