🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower for 2015-2019 Jeep (Renegade, Compass) 2.4L L4, 77-1565KS Review

Noticed the difference immediately. In my opinion, the 2019 Jeep Compass isn't strong enough. After adding the intake it doesn't seem to struggle as much when accelerating. It's a lot louder than I expected, especially when driving on the freeway or at full throttle. Hardly noticeable at cruising speed.

First of all I'm a big fan of previous k&n products I've had but this one sucks, the install was easy but the air filter just hangs. I installed this on a 2018 Jeep Renegade Latitude. Installation wasn't bad, except that some of the removal clips are hard to reach on the original. Also, I had to cut off the end of the hose for the connector as the connector wasn't the same as the original. I have attached some photos because I was disappointed with the quality of the filter. I purchased this to fit a 2016 Fiat 500X AWD 2.4L that has the EXACT same engine configuration as the Jeep Renegade 2.4L. It fits perfectly, all mounting holes and hardware match up, and the cable extension works too. There is a noticeable improvement in overclocking, but there are several downsides: 1. Installed on 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. Usually K&N provides everything needed for a smooth installation, but this was anything but smooth. I understand a lot myself. The way to connect the PCV and temp sensor is a joke, just slide them through the rubber grommet, they face down. Heat, vibration, shock all help pull them down, I think at some point the temp sensor will fall out because it's only held in by a rubber grommet. The worst thing is you can't see it so the sensor could be dangling…
