Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower for 2015-2019 Jeep (Renegade, Compass) 2.4L L4, 77-1565KS by Tim Morrison

I purchased this to fit a 2016 Fiat 500X AWD 2.4L that has the EXACT same engine configuration as the Jeep Renegade 2.4L. It fits perfectly, all mounting holes and hardware match up, and the cable extension works too. There is a noticeable improvement in overclocking, but there are several downsides: 1. This technique is about 5 times louder than the original, so it may not be for everyone. You can balance the volume by also replacing the stock muffler with a non-stock one to allow more exhaust flow. This worked fine for me. But it's still much louder than stock.2. On the Fiat 500X, the crankcase ventilation pipe has a quick connector that connects to the standard air intake. When using this K&N kit you will need to cut off the connector and simply slide the hose onto the provided barbed connector. Overall, despite these shortcomings, I think this kit is worth installing. The 2.4 liter already has a 2.5" exhaust, so if you replace the stock muffler it flows pretty well and has a nice sound that I don't think you often hear from a non-turbo 4-cylinder Listen. I used the Stock Flowmaster, available here for about $80. .
