I thought a magnetic PopSocket mount would be great - it would allow me to hold my iPhone securely while still being able to easily remove it to reveal other MagSafe accessories use. Well, it comes off easily….with almost any click, hand movement, or swipe. I often drop my phone, which defeats the purpose of PopSocket. Maybe the official PopGrip for MagSafe is safer. Might give it a try when it starts.

It was a huge disappointment! So where do I start. If you want this to stick you need to remove the protective cover! And risk dropping your phone so you can comfortably hold the pop socket! And that's only if you want to use a wireless charger. If you charge your new I Phone 12 with a charging cable, you can just use the regular pop socket on the back of the case. That's a waste of money. Don't buy it immediately!

To be honest I think it cost too much. $15 is a lot for this but it works fine, it worked in my waterproof Walmart glove box which held it up but was pretty flimsy. So if you have a Magsafe case, you're fine. Otherwise, if you have an Otterbox or thicker case, you'll have to do what I did and get a magesafe sticker/magnet to stick it in your case to keep it in place. After I applied this sticker it held tight and was a bit difficult to remove which is good. Don't have to worry about it falling…
