Description of Enhanced Engraving Machine Controller: Industrial Electrical Engraver Control System

Enhanced USB Connectivity

The Updated USB Port 3Axis GRBL 1.1f Control Board V3.4 is equipped with enhanced USB connectivity, allowing for seamless communication between the engraving machine and your computer. With the upgraded USB port, you can easily transfer data and commands, ensuring efficient and reliable control over your engraving process. Whether you're working with intricate designs or larger specimens, this improved connectivity enables smooth operation and precise control.

A Wide Range of Compatible Software

Designed to provide versatility and convenience, this Engraving Machine Control Engraver Controller supports multiple software options. You can choose to use the GRBL Control, Candle (3 axis), or Universal Gcode Sender software, depending on your preferences and specific project requirements. This flexibility allows you to work with various software interfaces and select the one that best suits your needs. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a beginner, you'll find the software compatibility of this control board to be a valuable feature.

Recommended Input Voltage

The Engraving Machine Control Engraver Controller operates within an input voltage range of 12-24VDC, with a recommended voltage of 24VDC. This recommendation is based on optimal performance and efficiency, ensuring that your engraving machine functions smoothly. By providing the ideal input voltage, you can experience consistent results and avoid any potential voltage-related issues. The control board's design takes into account this important parameter to enhance the overall performance and longevity of your engraving machine.

Precision Three-Axis Control

When it comes to controlling the XYZ three-axis movement of your engraving machine, this Engraving Machine Control Engraver Controller excels. With its robust capabilities, you can achieve precise and accurate movements across all three axes, enabling you to work with intricate designs and complex specimens. Whether you're engraving delicate patterns or larger objects, the control board's three-axis control provides the necessary precision for achieving exceptional results.

Enhanced Stepper Motor Support

Stepper motors play a vital role in the operation of an engraving machine, and the Engraving Machine Control Engraver Controller offers enhanced support for these motors. It is recommended to use a 12V stepper motor with a maximum current of 2A, although it is advised to stay within 1.5A for optimal performance. Additionally, the control board includes additional heat dissipation mechanisms to ensure the stepper motor operates at an ideal temperature. With its enhanced stepper motor support, this control board provides reliable and efficient control over your engraving machine's movement, improving overall productivity and performance.

The component is missing, but I received a refund.

I took the time to replace my old Woodpecker 3018 CNC control box with this one. I spent almost an hour trying to get home properly. The Z axis will not be at home. Removed that control, reinstalled my old control and everything was back to normal. It also appears that the X and Z axes are swapped on the control board, but there is a reference to this in the manual. When inspecting the control board I noticed that there is no capacitor (C46). I'm pretty sure this is what caused the Z axis…

The customized board works quite well and is recommended.

F-Yi GRBL CNC Engraving Machine Control Board 3 Axis Control Board DIY Laser Engraving Machine Control Board has been replaced with the board I ordered, maybe due to stock issues. It performs all the functions of the board I ordered and also provides PWM control for lasers that require an opposite polarity control signal provided by a vendor other than SainSmart. so much more useful. A polarity reversing circuit needs to be added to the control board ordered for the laser I am using. Delivery…

Works as advertised but no instructions or instructions.

This thing works fine with a pre-installed GRBL 1.1f, but if you're using a laser be aware that the homing cycle won't work. This is because you don't have a Z-axis motor or limit switch to activate. These boards were burned (coded) to use all three axes for homing. You would have to write separate boards for use with laser engravers, which is a shame as GRBL 1.1f includes new G04 features that are exclusive to lasers. My workaround used a dead stepper motor with a snap roller switch attached…
