Broke immediately

I need one of these to connect my PC headset to the console. I bought this to replace another broken adapter but it stopped working after about 6 days. I had partial or complete loss of audio unless I wiggled the cord or adjusted it in just the right spot. until the wire has moved a millimeter. I bought this one because the cable was braided and cost a lot more than it should have so I assumed it would last a little longer than a cheaper unit. Not correct. The cheaper defective unit I replacedโ€ฆ

Does not work with some microphones for applications that record on a smartphone or tablet.

I was hoping for an external replacement microphone for my phone and tablet. However, this did not work with my Samsung tablet, iPad or Samsung phone when using an analog condenser microphone. He used a dynamic microphone taken from an old portable tape recorder. The system software controls the selection of the microphone input, not whether I use a jack. Maybe my condenser mic has the wrong impedance to handle enough signal to trigger the input, but my goal was to use the gear I have and notโ€ฆ

Non-functional - Does not work as advertised - Listing is misleading!

I bought two of these adapters because their listing says they allow me to 1) send a microphone signal to a device like my iPhone and 2) allow me to plug in separate headphones for stereo monitoring of the headphone output worked fine (ONLY IF YOU ARE USING A STEREO HEADSET - WILL NOT WORK WITH A 3 PINGER MOBILE HEADSET). The microphone input did not work properly and only worked after a lot of trial and error and only with a very specific microphone input. What a pain in the ass! This is not a
