🌿 EnviroCare Eureka DCF-10/DCF-14 HEPA Filter with Activated Charcoal Review

This filter is excellent. It filters better than other filters I've bought. This makes the air cleaner and I am less allergic to dust mites. Works very well in my vacuum cleaner.

I haven't changed the original filter in several years as I usually just empty it and collect clumps of dust. It's time to start with a clean filter and it looks and fits just as expected.

Well made Eureka replacement filters in OEM quality. Can't say more as it's not the kind of article to "get excited" about. They are inexpensive for their quality.

Filter received and box does not match the product image. Nowhere on the packaging or the product does it say it is HEPA certified. The filter was the right size and worked perfectly, but it doesn't appear to be the product I paid for. You might as well have bought a cheaper non-HEPA product.

This filter promises a "carbon" filter inside. In the past, the filters I've ordered had this strip of activated carbon inside, which was great at keeping pet hair odor at bay. These two filters did not have a carbon strip inside and I noticed a difference after vacuuming it up. I love this vacuum (Eureka Pet) but am having a hard time pinpointing the exact type of filter it originally came with (charcoal). I kept them because I had to vacuum my house! Please do not say they are carbon filters…

I ordered 2 of these filters in November 2012 for my Eureka Optima 431F light handheld vacuum. They work very well - better than the filter that came with the machine. As some reviews of this machine say, dust, hair and dirt tend to collect in a big clump at the top of the filter and this happens more or less instantly.
