I have used this material for many years to create various custom molds and models of numerous anatomical structures. The material can be easily modified to meet specific physical properties. This is the lowest price source (one gallon size) I've found for this item.

We use it for loads of Halloween props. It does an excellent job of drying and holding the material in place. This is NOT for the body or face, trust me when I say that. Also, make sure you are well ventilated when using the product in a small space. Highly recommend, but I have to say the price has gone up $20 a can in the last two years. I had to use this for a sculpting lesson - it has an incredible amount of detail that I can't tell from a plaster mold. It's a lot of fun if you're into that sort of thing (like me). Depending on the size of the mold you are making, it will take several coats, each taking about an hour to dry, so plenty of time.
