2015 Tundra is half the thickness of the factory unit

For the 2015 Tundra pickup, this is half the thickness of the factory or WIX unit. This is the correct width on both sides, but the thickness is 9/16 and the factory unit is 1 1/8 of the thickness. So it won't work either.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Some bugs

Install it yourself and save a lot of money compared to a mechanic!

This is the perfect replacement for the original part. The instructions are clear and to the point (though if you need further help there are plenty of videos online). I believe it only took 3 minutes to install and it's definitely better than paying the dealer $40 for the same thing.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Very thin compared to a replaceable filter.

First cabin air filter replacement on a 2017 Corolla. The filter I received was about half as thin as the one I replaced. So it doesn't exactly fit in the compartment. Also, I wasn't quite sure which direction the needle should go because I don't know which way the air in the system is moving.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Band

Perfect fit for my 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Despite Revane's warnings that it doesn't fit my 2009 Pontiac Vibe (which is essentially a Toyota Matrix with a Pontiac badge), it fits very good good. I have ordered a cabin filter more than once. That works great. I have multiple environmental allergies so I change air filters every six months to keep my car breathable. This is an economical solution to my needs.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Does NOT contain activated carbon

The product description says that activated carbon is included.! The seller photo shows a dark filter which gives the impression that there is activated charcoal in it BUT the product I received is white and tells me it does NOT contain activated charcoal ๐Ÿ˜  My photo shows this (actual filter doesn't match match the photo on the box). And it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging that it contains activated charcoal! Wrong description

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • fades

Solid product, solid value.

I bought this for a 2007 Toyota Corolla S. The Toyota dealer wanted to charge $45 to replace the cabin air filter, so I decided to look on YouTube to see how I could do it myself. I went online to buy a filter because the dealer wanted to charge $20 for the filter. I was able to find this filter for less than $8 and install it fairly easily. It took about 7 minutes from start to finish. I would buy it again if I had the chance.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Used on my 2003 Toyota Corolla

Good price and fits my 2003 Corolla. I know the dirt comes in from the top and gets to the top of the filter, but when I checked the fan, air was going to the filter. So I installed it with updraft. To be honest I've used it differently in the past and it worked fine. This time I only encountered the problem of turning on and checking the fan. Yes, it took me a full 2 seconds (trouble) to reach the fan and turn it on. :)

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost ok

Save $ and install them yourself!

Ordered this for my 2007 Toyota Corolla LE as I was tired of paying 3x that for an oil change. It's very easy to install yourself (thanks YouTube) and it was a great price. Hopefully it will pull out the mileage like they say, but it's not expensive anyway if I have to replace it more often. The color of the filter can make it difficult to tell how dirty it is, but tapping it against a wall or floor a few times will likely give you the answer. You can also track when you last put it on or howโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
