Great slow feeder! - Feed

I use this as a fun slow eater for my four mini donkeys. I hang it on the beams in the barn and they love using it. That and a pillow of hay feed my donkeys well and help me slide over the clumsy border. Since the mini donkeys' hooves could be pushed through the holes, I only let them play with them on the floor under supervision. The horse will not have this problem. Love this idea and can see how it will do exactly what it is supposed to do. However, I could only stuff 2.5 pounds of regular grass horse hay into it. Sturdy and works great!

I'm very happy with it and plan to buy more. Loading hay is easy, I can put a flake/section in it. It takes me less than 5 minutes to download. My mare takes 1-2 hours to empty it. This is very hard work. When mud season came around I started putting it in a big empty storage tank and she basically leaves it there. First she showed him around the paddock which was great because he felt he was mimicking the pasture well. After a few weeks she realized that she didn't have to chase him (see photo
