Great at first, but not the last.

These lamps started great. They were bright, energy efficient and just what I needed. However, this pear only lasted 2 months before dying. For the price this is absolutely unacceptable. I've since spoken to friends who bought them and they've encountered the same issues. I will not buy again.

One for the tool shed and the other is my bright spotlight in my work light with hanging cord

These lights are packed with bright tiny squares of LEDs. I didn't understand why they were called corn until my son mentioned that round smoothies with tiny squares are supposed to be grains like corn. They emit bright light 360 degrees and on a scale of 4700 Kelvin or higher. We have from white to blue. I used one of these in my tool shed which had a high wattage Cfl glass bulb. The second went into my work light on a cord, which can be seen in my photo I uploaded for this review.

Great for garages

This bulb replaced a 150 watt fluorescent bulb that had lost most of its brightness and seemed to need to be warmed up before it peaked. Simply screwed into the socket and switched on immediately. It was much brighter than the 150w fluorescent it replaced. I asked my son to check it out after installing it and left the garage door to the house open. When he came out of the house he asked if I left the large exterior garage door (there are no windows) open because he thought sunlight was…
