Don't Last-Updated

They say 18 year life but we got them in January (3 months ago) and have already used 4 bulbs. We installed three lights in the new ceiling fan and one went out immediately. They light up together with the light switch, and then immediately as a short circuit. We put another light bulb and the same. We left the light on with two, but a few weeks later we flip the switch, two bulbs come on and one burns out (this repeats, it wants to come on every time we turn on the light but then goes off). A…

Second order in two weeks and no problems

Update: Two lightbulbs have failed after almost 2 years of use. The display shows 25,000 hours of continuous use or 18 years at 3 hours. My usage was more like 2 years with 3 hours and didn't live up to the stated expectations. However, Cherry's customer service rep was still extremely helpful and always responded the next day and both times acted quickly to resolve the issue. So my rating is based on an overall experience which is 5 stars but with the assumption that you will likely experience

Brighter (700 lumens), color 3000K towards white; Durability to be stated

As described. 3000K color is more like 3500K white which I like. this price range. The difference between an LED bulb and another is the "lifespan" - how many hours. I have been buying LED bulbs for 5 years and from different manufacturers, ALL "Made in China". Whether they last 15,000 hours, which should be the minimum for LEDs, remains to be seen.
