As described. 3000K color is more like 3500K white which I like. this price range. The difference between an LED bulb and another is the "lifespan" - how many hours. I have been buying LED bulbs for 5 years and from different manufacturers, ALL "Made in China". Whether they last 15,000 hours, which should be the minimum for LEDs, remains to be seen. Here is my experience: Toshiba BR40 brand. , 1200 lumens, 2 out of 9 are already dead after over 5 years, around 10,000 hours (at 40,000 estimates), which cost $20 each in 2014. Toshiba no longer makes household LEDs. E12, around 12, and they seem to last well under 10,000 hours. In one batch, 5 out of 6 failed after 2 years. My brand Philips E26 works well from 5-10,000 hours ($5 each). The CREE brand (Home Depot and elsewhere) is known for being "assembled in the USA." Where are LEDs made? China probably, but the components are assembled here. It's not about what's made in China; Precision machines like the iPhone are made there with quality finishes and will last for years. That's what the brand is telling Chinese factories: drop their prices and they'll scrap it. For example, Mattel wrung them out on Barbie dolls and ended up using lead paint. However, experience with Toshiba LEDs has been disappointing, big brands and expensive bulbs, and they probably won't last past the 40,000 hour claim. Getting back to that product - very bright (nominal lumens), 3000K color on the whiter side, but we'll have to wait years to see if they last 15,000 hours.
