I've had these before and they come in handy when you don't need 10 feet of extra tape to get in the way. I bought these specifically for my motorcycle lift to hold the bike in place and they work great. Nice, tidy and safe.

I can't believe I've waited this long to find it so convenient these days and storage is easy because it just tucks away rather than having straps all over the place and be included in nodes. I would recommend it to anyone who uses seat belts

For those that had problems, I wonder if they screwed them up too much. On a bike you don't put any stress on the suspension so there is always room to slacken the tension a bit if you need to, but I've never had a problem. I like the whole concept and they work very well.

Seriously, one of the hardest things about a wheelchair is securing it in a van. I don't have very good range of motion, so tying down a chair to go anywhere has always been difficult. These ratchet locks are inherently simple - I can tie and untie in seconds instead of struggling with alternative systems in minutes. It wasn't created specifically for this purpose, but it works very well.
