They are simply indispensable due to their versatility and easy handling. I've used many different ones and had major problems. (1) They were hard to tighten properly - not these. (2) They were hard to solve - not this one. (3) They couldn't be fully tightened because the material couldn't fit completely onto the spool (haha, you were wrong!) - not this one. (4) When not in use, they were difficult to store because all of the webbing was not wound up - not these. I threw away all my other ratchet straps. Although they cost a little more, they are worth it because you save time and nerves. Five of these beauties live in my truck now. Now I have two different sizes and I love them. I have a little bit of carpal tunnel syndrome and it makes my life easier.
