CHEAP PLASTIC, NOT OEM. I had this for five months. During the last month it did not hold the position and the screw continued to loosen. As I drove, the block exploded, scattering springs and bits of plastic everywhere. Terrible product.

Works like a radar detector suction cup but is still cheap plastic. I see myself replacing this in a year or two due to the Texas heat. I try to take it off my windshield when parked somewhere for a long time, especially in the summer because the plastic gets brittle in the heat.

Deducted 2 stars for Horrible God, the world's most annoying noise that shakes the inside of the radar detector. Take the metal bracket off the cheap version and put it on this unit, you have a 6 star product. I swear the noise it makes gets louder with the music and isn't drowned out. The bright side is an easy fix: wrap it in plastic wrap first, then stick it in the detector. The suction cup and low profile are great.

Okay, it's sticky! I don't know what happened to the sticky parka because mine fell off a couple of times. If it falls off, have fun removing lint and dirt! I ended up spraying it with Windex or something and it came off. Just make sure it's pressed firmly against the clear windshield before snapping it into place.
