Useless Fuse Helper, Regret Buying

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I could easily notice the low-quality manufacturing of this product. The ESI 315 Max Fuse Buddy didn't even last a single use in my industrial and scientific workplace. The poor design led to a frustrating and time-consuming experience. The only pro I can say is the fast shipping and delivery. The cons, on the other hand, are endless. Extremely disappointed with my purchase.

Pros
  • Provides a quick and easy way to diagnose circuit faults in automotive fuses.
Cons
  • Not compatible with larger fuses found in heavy-duty vehicles.

Great tool: Electrical

Seems to work as intended. Only used once so far. That's a lot better than blowing a few fuses. It's nice to see the current draw on the display when testing the circuit.

Pros
  • Measurement range: 0 to 80 amps / 48 volts DC
Cons
  • Damaged

ESI 315 Max Fuse Buddy Kit

Each of the Fuse Buddy products makes a great addition to the mechanic's tool kit requiring accurate and quick diagnosis of circuit loading need / open problems . Many price points from individual fuse types to universal kits of all kinds. Most problems are under 20 amps, but this deluxe kit even covers the oversized fuses that are so common in cars today. High quality and great instructions included. Fuse Buddy seems expensive but really cheap when this nasty intermittent CKT overload issue is

Pros
  • Easy access to measure current draw in MAXI, MINI and ATC circuits
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
