I use them to make espresso every morning. I've had them for a few weeks and they are perfect. They flow very well and are ideal for dual spout portafilters. Exactly what I was looking for. A quick rinse with water cleans them. Another review states that the letters wear out quickly. The caption was perfect for me, but I'll update this review when that happens.

I use one of these under a dual spout espresso portafilter. This gives me a volumetric measure of the size of an espresso shot. I find that they work very well. I doubt the markers will survive a cycle in the dishwasher, so we hand wash them. (The markers on the previous set from another manufacturer were dishwasher safe for 2 cycles.) They are made of thinner glass than the other set I had. I prefer them because they don't chill the shot as much as heavier glass.

The glass itself is nice and wide enough to easily take a picture with a dual head portafilter. However, the fine white measuring marks are only erased with a finger touch! I'm not kidding, even washing your hands literally wipes the white paint off! There is no engraving of lines or numbers on the glass. Your fingers slip and puff! PASSED! These glasses arrived on a Saturday and by Sunday the white measurement lines had already worn off the glass.

Very good when you need very small measuring cups. The walls are relatively thin, as is the handle, so I'd be careful not to drop them. I had trouble finding the right size for the espresso/cap I got for my birthday. They are really too small for that. They hold 2 to 3 shots, not much liquid. I am giving 4 stars and only deducting one because they may not be very durable. I won't drop it to test it though ;)
