Since I had the same case on my cellphone, I was wondering why it wasn't available for portable storage and laptops. There was one! After dropping my portable drive a few times (and the anxiety that comes with it) and forgetting about it at the worst times, this is a life saver! It really works. I used it to mount an external drive right next to my Mac Mini which is mounted under my desk. It sticks very well. And as described, I was able to remove it and paste it elsewhere. It adheres very well and leaves no film when peeled off. I don't know how they did it but I'll be buying two more soon. I don't game, so I don't have computers with big cases that can hold multiple drives, so I rely on external devices to store videos, music, and pictures.

Why didn't I get one of these sooner, it works exactly as advertised. It is very practical that my external drive is hidden in the pocket. Can't comment on longevity yet as it's only been a few days, but so far I'm liking it. I have a 2TB Western Digital Elements portable hard drive and there is about an inch of extra room on the sides so a larger drive should be fine.

There is a pocket. freer than I expected. You can see in my photos that the top edge of the stretch fabric is loose enough to open the hole. (I removed the SSD and pulled back the rubber band in the second picture so you can see that this gap is not caused by the item or my modification.) The fabric offers no tension/resistance and my SSD (Sandisk Extreme) slips out easily even with small movements like folding, carrying and removing the computer from the bag.
