It stood under a covered porch but withstood several windy storms. The string is quite fluffy and soft so I imagine it will look great in the dark. First I had to put it on the ground and adjust the drawing, but once it was up it looked amazing.

My mosquitoes ate me alive while installing this. It is made of chenille yarn. In our case, there was a lot of slack in the middle, and while I could probably spend a couple of hours working on the ends - gnats, I just stuck the spider in there and was done with it.

Easy installation requires two people The packaging makes it perfect when you take it out of the box. Take your time opening it, let it open on its own while you untangle it and you'll see it doesn't catch on the cord and fall in place, and do the same when you do remove.

A few things to consider if you are considering buying this. 1# The spider shown in the ad is greatly exaggerated. That's pretty small compared to the internet. 2# The fluffy material that makes up the web degrades quickly when handled. The bristles detach leaving a thin thread. It won't last more than one Halloween if you put it outdoors. In this case, cheap price equals cheap quality.

I find the images and title misleading. I read everything and looked at all the pictures before buying. The actual net is 6ft 9in in diameter, the rest is rope to tie it. The included spider is proportional to the web, so that's a good thing. The rope isn't super strong, but it's not weak either. I don't think it will survive a big storm. When I bought it, it was only $10. The two trees I have are 14 feet apart so I could use extra rope to tie them together and other things to close the big gap
