I liked that they are square and take up less space. But. One bottle had a hole in it and half the limoncello was on the floor before I realized what was going on. There was a sticky floor that needed to be moped. Obviously not tested before being packed for shipping. Hoping the bottles are strong and can take a puff or two when used. I would advise you to review them before filling them out.

I am a bar manager. I have used many different flip top bottles, these are the worst I have ever bought. The glass itself seems strong enough. The problem lies in the closure. The metal cage catches the glass and can hardly be closed. The rubber seal fell off all four vials within minutes of first use, and the stopper is made of durable, cheap plastic. If you don't plan on ever capping these bottles, they're a good, overpriced option.

One day I came home in a mess. I did a second fermentation of kombucha. One of the bottles scattered all over the kitchen. The glass flew all the way to the far wall in my kitchen, 8 feet or so. I'm so glad I wasn't home when it happened. If I were in the kitchen, the noise would give me a heart attack or stab me. Now I spit every few hours. I don't want to clean up another mess like this. The only good thing is that they seal well. They are sealed. Without doubt.

I would contact the seller first but I don't see where this is possible. I read the reviews but had to point out the ones that say these bottles don't seal well, SO TRUE. I arrived from 3 and didn't close at all, open all the time. I use one that I thought was good, but it also opened up just by looking at it. I wasn't expecting much from these flip caps for their low price, but they are quite durable for cheap bottles. They have decent print and look exactly as advertised. The only warning I can give is not to use them to ferment carbonated drinks. I used them to flavor and carbonate my homemade kombucha and when I tried to release some of the accumulated CO2 the lid and metal part came off completely, luckily I didn't get hurt but do it yourself.
